Sea Surface Temperature (SST) is the water temperature close to the sea surface.
It plays a vital role in controlling the kind of weather that we experience and can be a driving force behind weather phenomena such as hurricanes and April snow.
As the title suggests, this blog will be more of the (semi) daily journal entry, gauging mostly surface temperature. I'll try not to delve into deeper waters or explore underlying currents, although the occassional upswell is somewhat inevitable. Maybe I'll provide a seperate category to serve as venue. Allow me the passing indulgence of this technical rigmarole and I'll be sincere in my posting. Most of it will be of a personal and insignificant nature to the unacquainted reader, yet I'll tag the individual post nonetheless. Should anyone care to offer insight or share a related experience, please feel free to comment.
